Colors by Llarowe - Lucy I´m Home

Manicure: Two coats of "Lucy I´m Home" + Seche Vite.
Application: A little bit runny but not too bad.
Grade: 4

This nail polish is as strawberry sweet as it gets! I really like this a bit different shade of pink. The holographic effect is not very strong which brings the grade down from a 5 to a 4. This is the kind of polish I´d wear anywhere at any time and occasion. And by the way, I just realized this is the first time I blog a CbL polish! Crazy!!

Brand Presentation - Colors by Llarowe

Colors by Llarowe is an indie nail polish brand. I can honestly say it is on my top 5 indie polish list. The person behind the brand has her own online shop based in the USA where she is selling her creations. There are also a few internet shops which retails CbL. CbL polishes have a big variation of colors and finishes, I have not tried that many of them yet, but the ones I have are amazing. I will show four of them this week and trust me, at least one is a 5-pointer!

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 34

Yesterday I went to what I believe will be the last outdoor flea-market of the year. It was amazing weather, sunny and warm, and a lot of sellers put their stands up all around town square. I found a lot of toys of course, that is usually the reason why I go to those events, as well as a few nail polishes. It has been a long while since I bought second hand polish at a flea-market. But this time I really nailed it with a lot of pinks (love pink) as well as a nail strengthening polish which sells pretty expensively at stores here in Sweden and has a reputation for being useful. Check them out!

H & M "Peach Creamsicle", Sensinity "No. 110", Mavala "Toulouse" & Isadora "Sparkling Candy".

Trind "Nail Repair", Sensinity "No. 1", Depend "No. 154" & "No. 58".

Nordic Cap of Sweden - NP 33

Manicure: Two coats of "NP 33" + Seche Vite.
Application: Almost a one coater!
Grade: 3 leaning a 4.

This polish is really quite awesome. A creamy, smurf blue budget polish with glitter I payed a dollar for. I might have mentioned this before considering the Nordic Cap of Sweden polishes; but it is said that they vary greatly in quality from bottle to bottle. If you are lucky enough to get a good one the formula is great, if not they are not worth buying. This specific bottle of polish was great to apply. But if it is true what they say, the bottle you might buy might not be even though it is of the same kind. So I guess it is quite the gamble to get these. Is it worth it to get them to find a good copy? Definitely!

Isadora - Baby Blue

Manicure: Two coats of "Baby Blue" + Seche Vite.
Application: Like most cremes it was hard to get it look even. When I applied Seche Vite it smoothed out quite well though!
Grade: 4 (cause I love the shade of blue)

Like I said above I totally love this shade of blue. It really is a sky blue color. This creme will be very useful for me as underwear for glitter toppers. I will most likely wear it sometime just as it is too. So cute!

Glam Polish - Bad Hair Day

Manicure: Two coats of "Bad Hair Day" + Seche Vite.
Application: Perfect as always with Glam Polish.
Grade: 4

Like most Glam Polishes this one is a real beauty. The pictures I have taken in my lightbox do not do it justice. It is a lovely denim blue glitter with a holographic sparkle to it and I love it. I am going to have to take photos of it out in the sun sometime to really show it´s beauty.

Cupcake Polish - Remembering Blue

Manicure: Nfu Oh "Aqua Base", two coats of "Remembering Blue" + Seche Vite.
Application: No problem using Aqua Base.
Grade: 5

At first I tried applying "Remembering Blue" over a nail strengthening polish called Duri "Rejuvacote". I have read that many people use the "Rejuvacote" as a base polish for their manicures and decided to try it with this Cupcake polish. This did not work out at all. Maybe it´s because it is a holographic polish. I didn´t really try "Remembering Blue" on it´s own without any base polish so it might work just fine without an Aqua Base. And I am sorry for the crappy nail quality. Just try to look at the polish and not my nails, he he!

Color Week - Blue

Two more weeks and my Love is going to the US to see his family. Two weeks and then I will be all alone again. That makes me feel sooo blue! I will most likely survive it though since he is bringing back tons of nail polish I purchased since he was there last spring. There are going to be some serious Weekly Polish Haul posts in the near future!

Finish Week - Glitter

This week I am going to post some polishes with one of my favorite finish; glitter. I guess a lot of people don´t like bling and sparkly things but I am definitely not one of them!

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 32

Do you feel how autumn is coming closer? I can feel it all too well. But one good thing about darker times of the year is that people tend to clean out their nail polish collections and sell them. Preferably to me!

Celestial "Elfin Rose", ILNP "Maiden Lane" & Depend No. 4053 "Sunshine Kisses".

Grade: 3

Gloss ´n Sparkle - Above Deck

Manicure: Two coats of "Above Deck"  + Seche Vite.
Application: No issues.
Grade: 3

This nail polish was a huge disappointment for me. In all the swatches I have seen it has a lovely blue, sparkly color. My bottle of polish is nothing but green. Green and not as sparkly as it looks to be in the bottle. I am tempted to bring the grade down to a "2", but it is a nice polish.
