H & M Advent Calendar 2017

Winter is officially here with cold and snow outside. It´s first of December tomorrow which means 

it´s time to get started with this year´s showing of an Advent Calendar! This pile of polish comes from the year of 2017 which was, as far as I know, the last year H & M had one just for nail polish. I guess they didn´t sell enough of them since they stopped making them which is very sad indeed. 

Anyway, from tomorow and all the way to Christmas I will present a polish from this pyramid of colors and glitters. Enjoy!     

Technic - Tinsel Town "L"

Manicure: Two coats of H & M "Mochaccino" and two coats of "L".
Note: Quite surprisingly I loved this combo! Glitter was easy to apply. 

Grade: 3

Technic - Tinsel Town "K"

Manicure: Two coats of H & M "Before the Storm" and two coats of "K".

Note: The payoff was all right when I stabbed the brush down the bottle.
Grade: 3  

Technic - Tinsel Town "J"

Manicure: Two coats of H & M "Mirabilia" + two coats of "J".

Note: This one was so goopy to apply even though it´s never been open before. The combo was also a failure.
Grade: 3 

Technic - Tinsel Town "I"

Manicure: Two coats of H & M "Atlantis" and one coat of "I".

Note: Actually a pretty good payoff on this one. I always liked this specific kind of gold glitter topper.

Collection Week - Technic "Tinsel Town" 2015 part 3

I went Christmas shopping last weekend with my two guys. We drove to a very big mall about an our away from home and spend the whole day there. In this mall they have two very special shops; a huge candy shop and a small but very genuine movie store. Candy and movies? Could it get any better?

The last part of "Tinsel Town" from the year of 2015 is just as glitzy as the rest of them. I am going to continue to map out my Technic polishes after New Years, some of the ones I have are the same but still belongs to different collections. That really needs to be sorted out!

Technic - Tinsel Town "H"

Manicure: Two coats of H & M "Mochaccino" and one coat of "H".

Note: It actually worked fine not to sponge this one.

Technic - Tinsel Town "G"

Manicure: Three coats of "G".

Note: It covers pretty well in three coats. Not too shabby a budget polish.
Grade: 3 

Technic - Tinsel Town "F"

Manicure: Two to three coats of "F".

Note: This polish was so thick and goopy I could hardly apply it. It needs thinner even though it´s brand new.
Grade: 2 

Technic - Tinsel Town "E"

Manicure: Two coats of Zoya "Song" plus one ponged coat and one coat of "E".
Note: This topper was very sparkly. Pretty ok to apply with a sponge, but a little hard to spread out that way.

Collection Week - Technic "Tinsel Town" 2015 part 2

The second part of "Tinsel Town" from 2015 is a mix of different finishes. I have only posted glitter toppers so far, but there are a few in this collection which are not. It makes it more fun I believe, to mix up the finishes in a collection a little. 

Technic - Tinsel Town "D"

Manicure: Two coats of Zoya "Amy" and one sponged coat of "D" + one coat.

Note: It´s a pretty cute micro glitter topper.

Technic - Tinsel Town "C"

Manicure: Two coats of Cupcake Polish "Hatch of the Day" and one coat of "C".

Note: Such a sweet topper! Amazing pay-off, pretty cute combo.

Technic - Tinsel Town Polish "B"

Manicure: Two coats of Cupcake Polish "Cocoon", one sponged coat  of "B" and Glam Polish "Magic Shine Topcoat".

Note: This glitter came out of the bottle pretty well. I decided to sponge it though.

Technic - Tinsel Town Polish "A"

Manicure: Two coats of Cupcake Polish "Little Butterfly" and one sponged coat of "A" + Glam Polish "Magic Shine Topcoat".
Note: Pretty cute topper. Needs to be sponged.

Collection Week -Technic "Tinsel Town 2015" part 1

Hoping all of you had a great Halloween Holidays and god weeks after that! I am starting to feel ready to prepare for Christmas. I know there are a couple weeks left before it´s Advent, and that Thanksgiving comes in between, but I am still going to start showing some Christmas polishes. 

A long time ago, in the year 2015 to be exact, I found a Christmas set in a budget store. It contained 12 little mini bottles packed with glittery goodness. I always kind of liked Technic as a budget brand and glitters; who says no to that?

Isadora - Opal

Manicure: Two coats of Isadora "Bohemian Brown" + one coat of "Opal".

Note: Application was very good. It shows a very pretty blue shimmer over a dark base.

Isadora - Sweet Violet

Manicure: Three coats of "Sweet Violet".

Note: Application took some work, but it was worth it. It has a perfect lilac shade. <3
