Indie ABC-Challenge - Week 1: A-B-C-D

I´ve been wanting to do a ABC-challenge ever since I started this blog. Going through my collection, shelf by shelf, an pick out the polishes I need in alphabetic order... And here it is! I must admit it has taken me quite a few weeks to put it together. (I even got an excuse to buy some more polishes to fill out the gaps on certain letters, but I am so not ever going to admit that.)

Oopsie Daisies - 1776

Manicure: Three coats of Essie "Gala-vanting" and two coats of "1776".

Note: Such a great glitter! I love it!

Oopsie Daisies - Poseidon

Manicure: Three coats of "Poseidon".

Note: Jelly glitters are always hard to apply. This is one of the better ones I´d say.
Grade: 2

  

Oopsie Daisies - Fairy Tale Wishes

Manicure: Two coats of Kiko "Mango" and two coats of "Fairy Tale Wishes".

Note: This is a pretty great polish. It wasn´t too hard to fish the stars out.
Grade: 3

  

Oopsie Daisies - Unlikely Hero

Manicure: Two coats of Kiko "Pink Flamingo" and two coats of "Unlikely Hero".

Note: I really like this one! The base is so smooth and I like the combination of big and small glitter.
Grade: 4

  

Brand Presentation - Oopsie Daisies

The brand Oopsie Daisies is and Indie brand which has been closed down. Their Etsy shop page is still around but here are no polishes for sale there. The last post on their Facebook page was in December 2014. 

I got my hands on a few of the bottles second hand through the nail polish Facebook group. I sure am happy to have them!   

Fair Maiden - Interstellar

Manicure: Two coats of "Interstellar" and Essie "Gel Setter".

Note: Wonderful application, amazingly sparkly holo.
Grade: 4,5

  

Glisten & Glow - Asteroid Belt

Manicure: Two coats of "Asteroid Belt".

Note: Superb application! A very dark blue leaning black polish.
Grade: 4

  

Rimmel - Gallactic Blue

Manicure: Two coats of "Gallactic Blue".

Note: The polish was a little old and thick but applied decently anyway. The color is a bit so-so.
Grade: 2

  

Picture Polish - Aurora

Manicure: One coat of Essie "Licorice" and two coats of "Aurora".

Note: It smeared the undie polish a bit though is was dry. It has amazing color change!
Grade: 3 

Space Themed Nail Polish Week

What a stressful week it has been! They are close to tearing down half the building where I work which makes it a very noisy, dirty and smelly environment to work in. The workers even broke a window in one of the offices and who had to clean up after that? Me of course (since it is my job to do so).

This week is space themed! I don´t know if I have mentioned here how much I love the movie "Passengers". It´s by far the best movie I´ve ever seen and these four polishes remind me a little bit about the movie. 

Kiko 289 - Dark Flamingo Pink

Manicure: Two coats of "Dark Flamingo Pink".

Note: A very nice creme. I wish all of them could be like this one.
Grade: 3

  

Kiko 642 - Hot Pink

Manicure: Two coats of "Hot Pink".

Note: Perfect! I love everything about it.
Grade: 4

  

Kiko 288 - Pink Flamingo

Manicure: Two to three coats of "Pink Flamingo".

Note: This is the type of sheer crelly creme polish I don´t like. It covers pretty bad and looks too thick with three coats.
Grade: 2 

Kiko 633 - Magenta

Manicure: Two coats of "Magenta".

Note: A creme sugar polish at it´s best. So sweet!
Grade: 3
