Summer break is here!

It´s time for me to take my usual summer holiday at my cottage in the country. I do not have a computer there (nor an internet connection) which naturally forces me to pause the blogging for a few weeks. I will hopefully be doing a lot of swatching and will return in the fall with more inspirational nail polishes to show!

Topshop Nails - Moondance

 

Manicure: Nfu Oh "Aqua Base" and two coats of "Moondance" + Seche Vite.
Note: This sky blue dusty holo is a real summers polish! Easy to apply with an Aqua Base.
Grade: 4  

OPI - Solitaire

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Solitaire".
Note: It´s simply just awesome.
Grade: 4  

Layla - Red Taboo

 

Manicure: Nfu Oh "Aqua Base", two coats of "Red Taboo" and Seche Vite.
Note: This was very close to a one-coater. I don´t know if the Aqua Base was necessary or not.
Grade: 4  

Great Lakes Lacquer - Copper Stars

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Copper Stars" and Seche Vite.
Note: I like how much the flakies showed up against the red base. I did like this one more than I thought I would. 
Grade: 3,5  

Glam Polish - Mystify

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Mystify" and Seche Vite.
Note: Although not exactly my color choice, it is a lovely polish.
Grade: 4

W7 - Lava Flow

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Lava Flow" and Seche Vite.
Note: I was so sure the bas was white, but it was pink! A big surprise for me and very unique.
Grade: 3  

Kicks - Moon Galaxy

 

Manicure: Three coats of "Moon Galaxy" and Seche Vite.
Note: It says "top coat" on the bottle but was easy to make opaque in three coats. I must say it´s one of the most outstanding glitters I own.
Grade: 4,5  

Essie - On your mistletoes

 

Manicure: One coat of "On your mistletoes" and Seche Vite.
Note: Essies cremes are truly outstanding. So easy to apply with one coat and I like the color too.
Grade: 3  

Glam Polish - Ilusion

Manicure: Two coats of "Illusion" and Seche Vite.
Note: It doesn´t get much more prettier than this. Sky blue, sparkles and rainbows, what´s not to like?
Grade: 4,5  

W7 - Salt n Pepper

 

Manicure: Three coats of " Salt n Pepper" and Seche Vite.
Note: This nail polish really is pretty cute. It just smells a lot...
Grade: 3  

Cupcake Polish - Milky Way

 

Manicure: Three coats of "Milky Way".
Note: This was so creme-ish and holo at the same time. Such a soft pastel violet. 
Grade: 4 

Jade - Energy

 

Manicure: Three coats of "Energy" and Seche Vite.
Note: The Jade holos truly are magnificent. I wish I had more of them, not just a few.
Grade: 4

W7 - Space Dust

 

Manicure: Two to three coats of "Space Dust" and Seche Vite.
Note: This polish is quite an original. I both like it and don´t. Unfortunately it´s a budget that smells really bad. 
Grade: 2,5
