Weekly Polish Haul - Week 30

I can´t claim I increased my nail polish collection very much during my three weeks of summer vacation. Mostly to the fact that we do not have any internet connection at our cottage and we are spending most of our time outdoors with our dog. But when I got back to town from our summer paradise in the country, these two beauties were waiting for me in our mailbox.

Manicure No. 1: Isadora "Peel Off Base", two coats of "Purple Creme" + Seche Vite.
Application: Dried super fast which made it very hard to apply.
Grade: 1

 

 

Manicure No 2: Isadora "Peel Off Base", two coats of "Purple Creme", a sponged coat of "Micro Glitter"  + Seche Vite.
Application: Just like the other Primark glitters the base was heavy so it needed to be applied with a sponge.

Manicure No.1: Isadora "Peel Off Base" polish, two coats of "Minty Green Creme" + Seche Vite.
Application: Just as bad as the previous two. First coat is close to impossible to apply.
Grade: 1

 





 

 

Manicure No 2.: Isadora "Peel Off Base" polish, two coats of "Minty Green Creme", a sponged coat of "Silver Glitter Topper" + Seche Vite.
Application: Thick and goopy base which requires the sponging technique. The larger glitter needs to be fished for. The combo was super pretty.

Manicure No.1: Isadora "Peel Off Base" polish, two coats of "Hot Pink" + Seche Vite.
Application: Really bad. The coverage is ok but it drags a lot.
Grade: 1

 

 

Manicure No. 2: Isadora "Peel Off Base" polish, two coats of "Hot Pink", a sponged coat of "Multi Glitter Topper" + Seche Vite.
Application: The base was thick and goopy so I had to use a sponge to get enough glitter on the nails.

Manicure No.1: Isadora "Peel Off Base" polish, two coats of "Minty Blue Creme" + Seche Vite.
Application: Horrible. It was goopy and draggy at the same time. Smells bad too.
Grade: 1



Manicure No.2: Isadora "Peel Off Base" polish, two coats of "Minty Blue Creme", one coat of "Pink Micro Glitter + Seche Vite.
Application: Quite ok. A little thick on the base. Does not fit to be used as a topper.
Grade: 3



Brand Presentation - Primark Beauty

This brand is so budget. As budget as it can be (as in not worth buying at all). Sure enough, the glitters are possible to do something with. If you have a lot of patience, and a lot of time.
I find nothing at all searching online about the brand. On the bottles it says they are produced in China (no surprises there) for "Primark Beauty, Dublin". For some reason I got the idea they are Danish, perhaps due to the brand name, but can find no indication of that.
Either way I am showing off my Primark Beauty polishes this week. Even though they are worthless to use as nail polish the bottles sure are cute!

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 26

Finally a great polish haul week! All thanks to my hubs of course. He ordered some Glam Polish at their web shop and shipped it straight to Sweden for me to get super fast! Usually I ship them to his brother in the USA to save the shipping cost and skip the customs fee but we got lucky this time and got them right in the mailbox without any problems.

As of today I am starting my summer vacation. I will be free from work for three whole weeks and the plan is that we will spend as much time as possible in the country with our dog. I will most possibly not blog at all during this time since we don´t have any computers or internet in our little cottage. I´ll see you all at the end of July!!



Viva la Diva - Princess

Manicure: Three coats of "Princess" + Seche Vite.
Application: Very sheer but gives ok opacity with three coats.

Manicure: Two coats of "Candy is Dandy".
Application: Perfect for a sugar polish.

Lac Attack - Amortentia

Manicure: Homemade peel-off base polish, two coats of "Amortentia" + Seche Vite.
Application: It was incredibly goopy so I had to use thinner which helped.
Grade: 2

Manicure: Two coats of "Sorceress" + Seche Vite.
Application: Really nice.
