H & M Glitter Nail Polish Week

It´s been a lovely week after spending my time at my cottage over the weekend for the first time this year. The yard was starting to get green, there were birds everywhere and we even saw some wildlife hiking in the woods.

Saturday and Sunday we spent a lot of time driving around looking at historical remains of graves and buildings and sacrificial sites. I really like doing that, it´s like I can feel my Swedish roots visiting those places. And it´s quite a big contrast to painting my nails!

For this week I collected a few H & m polishes I bought to use for last Christmas. I haven't gotten around to try them till know, but here they are!

Sensinity 24

Manicure: Two coats of "24".

Note: It was hard to make it cover and it was draggy. Orange scented.

Note: A little bit streaky to apply and I´d use three coats next time. Smells like vanilla.

Note: Application was quite good and the shade of pink is really cute. This one is strawberry scented.

Note: This is the best black creme polish I´ve ever tried. The cap says it´s lily scented and it really smells like flowers after drying.

Brand Presentation - Sensinity

Sensinity is a brand from Spain. Or at least a country using Spanish as their language. I can find very little about this brand online, but a pretty big number of webshops are selling them. 

Here in Sweden they are being sold at grocery store such as "Willy´s" and "Coop". I´d like to say it´s a budget brand but they really aren´t that cheap here. I payed at least an average of 20kr per bottle for the ones I have and they are only 7ml bottles.

Sensinity´s nail polishes are a bit different from most polishes; they are scented. The "name" on the cap is actually not the name of the polish, but the name of the scent the polish has. Alas, they don´t have any names, only numbers. I think I have manage to collect about ten different scents so far, I am a bit nerdy when it comes to things like that, and I always look for new ones when I see them in the store.    

Fate of Flower 39

Note: A bit goopy to apply and it really smells TERRIBLE. It´s kind of pretty though, but no...

Cremes - Ravishing Ruby

Manicure: Two coats of "Ravishing Ruby".

Note: This polish dried instantly when applied, even before the brush-stroke was finished. That made it close to impossible to apply.

Nailtini - Caviar Cocktail

Manicure: Two coats of "Caviar Cocktail".

Note: This polish fits for this week´s theme having the weirdest, longest brush ever. It´s like trying to apply the polish with boild spaghetti. And it has a very strange name too...

Manicure: Two coats of "39".

Note: This polish has a yellow, goopy base which doesn´t cover the nail well at all. It´s also the smelliest polish     I´ve ever used. Yuck!

Depend 058

Manicure: Three coats of "058".
Note: It was quite sheer so it took a bit of building. The dusty lilac color is cute but the whole mani would look a lot better with a glossy top coat.

Depend 387

Manicure: Two coats of "387".

Note: This one has all the awesomeness of a polish. I love the color, the finish and application. And can you seriously believe I didn´t use a top coat for this mani the way it shines?

Depend 089

Manicure: Two coats of "089".

Note: I liked this polish quite a lot! It was on the thick side to apply due to it´s age but it has a very nice shade of red.

Depend 2037

Manicure: One coat of "2037".

Note: This polish is from Depend´s LE "Mirror" collection. Sadly I only have one of the polishes from the collection, this polish was really nice. Application was good but on the thick side. A one coater!

Brand Presentation - Depend

Depend is a Swedish brand that makes nail polishes of all kind and finishes. They have made beautiful holos in the past (which were presented in my blog in the past, just click the tag "Collection: Depend Holographic"), and their glitter toppers and cremes are usually pretty good. Every year they have LE collections with special finishes such as "metallic" and "mirror". 

The bottles are pretty expensive for being so small; they retail for between 25 and 30 kronor. Aside from the original mini bottles they also have a series called 7 day.

If you are in Sweden you can find them almost anywhere. They are being sold in most drug stores, at grocery stores and in cosmetic shops.

Nordic Cap of Sweden - NP18

Manicure: Two coats of "NP18".

Note: This is about the strangest polish I´ve ever tried. It´s very yellow as you can see, very see-through and it´s some kind of weird jelly. Why would anyone want to wear something like this?

Claudia - Baby Girl

Note: This polish is sheer and yet not. There is no other way to describe it. It´s so delicate in it´s color I´m having a hard time to get rid of it, so I´ll just keep it for now.

Nivea - Sea Shell

Manicure: Two coats of "Sea Shell".

Note: Application was great for such an old polish. My mother bought it for herself some time in the nineties and then gave it to me a few weeks ago. The mother-of-pearl effect is not bad either.
