O.P.I Glitter Topper Week

It´s time for the mainstream goodness of O.P.I! For being a brand I don´t really like much I have a ridiculous amount of them. Time to start going through them to see which ones I want to keep. I honestly don´t even know how some of them ended up here...

Darling Diva - Pink Diamond

Manicure: Two coats of "Pink Diamond".

Note: It´s a horrible stainer. It stains nails, cuticles and fingers. I wouln´d say it´s very pink or holorgaphic either.
Grade: -1 

Darling Diva - Invoke the Spirit

Manicure: Four coats of O.P.I "Warm Me Up" and one coat of "Invoke the Spirit".

Note: The base has got a little bit thick with age. Glows in the dark beautifully.
Grade: 3

  

Darling Diva - Carrie

Manicure: Three coats of China Glaze "Let´s Jam" and two coats of "Carrie".

Note: I don´t know about this polish... It´s not really my thing.
Grade: 2

  

Darling Diva - Firefly

Manicure: Depend "Optimal Start" base polish, two coats of Nordic Cap of Sweden "NP59", one sponged coat and one painted coat of "Firefly" and finally Seche Vite.

Note: Without the sponge no glitter came out at all. Glows in the dark!

Brand Presentation - Darling Diva

I don´t know if Darling Diva is still up and running. The web shop won´t take me to the checkout and the Facebook page hasn´t got any entries since 2018.
Either way, the brand is a real classic american Indie brand. I doubt there are many nail polish fans who haven´t heard of them. Their Muscle Car Collection is epic even though I don´t own any of them myself. I do however own a few other bottles. Lets see what I think about them!

Different Dimension - One Nation Evermore

Manicure: One coat of O.P.I "Natural Nail Base Coat", two coats of "One Nation Evermore" and Essie "Gel Setter".
Note: Amazing application, truly perfect. The midnight blue color is beyond belief.

KBShimmer - Navy Or Not, Here I Come

Manicure: Two coats of "Navy Or Not, Here I Come" and Essie "Gel Setter".

Note: It´s so incredibly blue! Easy to apply and quite holographic even away from the light.
Grade: 4

  

Essie - Midnight Cami

Manicure: Nail Pattern Boldness "Glitter-a-peel" and two coats of "Midnight Cami".

Note: This polish was all right. Just not entirely my cup of tea.
Grade: 2

  

Anonymous Lacquer - Peace Love & Rescue

Manicure: Two coats of "Peace Love & Rescue" and Essie "Gel Setter".
Note: Amazing sparkle! Great application! Just beautiful!

Color Week - Midnight Blue

It´s been ages since I threw off a color week. I´ve been focusing a lot on swatching and getting rid of polishes I don´t want to keep the past year and a half. And it will take me at least two more years to go through them all. ; )
Anyway, none of these four beauties belong in that category though. I quite simply love all of these!

Glam Polish - I Know What You Did Last Summer

Manicure: Three coats of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and Glisten & Glow "HK Girl".

Note: It´s very sparkly and pretty. I haven´t seen this finish before, I don´t even know what to call it.

Glam Polish - Wolf Creek

Manicure: Two to three coats of "Wolf Creek" and Glisten & Glow "HK Girl".

Note: It was a tiny bit draggy. I really like it though, it´s so unique being so packed full of flakies.

Glam Polish - The Haunting of Hill House

Manicure: Three coats of "The Haunting of Hill House" and Glisten & Glow "HK Girl".

Note: I´m actually a little disappointed in this one. It wasn´t very sparkly or special at all really.

Glam Polish - Urban Legend

Manicure: Two coats of "Urban Legend" and Glisten & Glow "HK Girl".

Note: What a special polish! It´s packed with flakies and has such a beautiful shimmer.

Glam Polish Halloween Horror Shop 2019

This week I´ve got some smashing polishes for you! No less than four shades from last year´s Halloween Horror Shop from Glam Polish. It might be a little off season for Halloween, but in my book it´s always time for watching horror movies, even in the summer! 

Glam Polish - You´re Just As Sane As I Am

Manicure: Two coats of "You´re Just As Sane As I Am" and Essie "Gel Setter".

Note: No application issues, so sparkly and pretty.
