Color Week - Mint Green

While sitting here fixing up my blog post for the week a sudden bang of thunder just struck outside. Looking out the sky is still clear and blue. A dark black cloud is hovering in the distance. Sometimes the weather really surprises you. I keep close track on the weather from an app on my phone and it said nothing about any lightning today.

I am glad to be inside blogging at this moment!

Hare Polish - What I Wore to the Revolution

Manicure: Three coats of Lilypad "Frogs Alive" and one coat of "What I Wore to the Revolution".

Note: Such a great pay-off! The base is very sparkly.

Note: I´m surprised how well the second coat covered.

Note: A pretty basic polish, it doesn´t feel very indie.

Manicure: One coat of Cactus Polish "Magnesium" and one coat of "Married to the Monarchy".

Note: This was a terrible color combo, but the polish is nice.

Brand Presentation - Hare Polish

A new week and a new brand for me to present! Hare polish is an indie polish which is unfortunately closed down. Their latest tweet is in 2016 and I don´t know what happened after that. 

I am not very familiar with the brand, I got my first bottle second handed just last spring. I only own a few different bottles but will show four of them this week.

OPI - Comet Closer

Manicure: Two coats of "Comet Closer".

Note: This one dried fast. Very dull color too.

Note: It´s a pretty basic glitter. Nothing special.

Manicure: Two coats of OPI "Up Front & Personal" and many dotted coats of "Comet In The Sky".

Note: It was damn right impossible to get the glitter out! I will need to sponge this.

Note: I don´t like this shade of gold, but it´s just so sparkly!

Space Themed OPI Nail Polish Week

During my vacation at my cottage I took the chance to swatch all the rest of my OPI polishes. I was hoping some of them would turn out less nice so I could sort some of them out, but I ended up keeping most. Oh well. 

Femme Fatale - The Nessie Alliance

Manicure: Two coats of "The Nessie Alliance" and Glisten & Glow "HK Girl".

Note: The holo glitter showed a lot better than I expected.

Note: It looks sheer at first but covers well in three coats.

Note: I should have used three coats on this one. The holo effect visible in the bottle is absent on the nail.

Note:It is sparkly and all, just not as holo as I would have liked.
