Depend 5040 - Unicorn Dream

 

Manicure No.1: Isadora "Peel Off Base", two coats of "Unicorn Dream".
Application: It did drag a bit and left bald patches.

Manicure No. 2: Isadora "Peel Off Base", two coats of "Unicorn Dream" + Seche Vite.
Application: Like above. Changed color and took a lot of the holographic effect away.

Manicure No. 3: Nfu Oh "Aqua Base" and two coats of "Unicorn Dream".
Application: This is the way to use this polish!
Grade: 4

 

I tried a few different ways to apply this polish to figure out how to use these Depend holos in the best way possible. First I tried it like I usually apply any polish; with a peel-off base for easy removal and  Seche Vite for the fast drying purpose. It did not work out with either one of those methods however. An aqua base was necessary for it not to drag and leave bare spots and I had to let it dry on it´s own in order to keep the intended color and holo effect. I can reveal that this is the method I used for all the Depend Holo Fantasy polishes and it worked very well. They all easily dried and were very durable without topcoat.
