Halloween Summary 2015

Happy Halloween to everyone on this Earth!!! These are the manicures my family liked the most (of course they all voted differently).

My boyfriend liked Darling Diva "Candy Corn Crack" the most.

My dad chose Pahlish "Root Beer Barrel".

And my dearest mother liked my favorite the nameless La Femme.

 

 

Many thanks to my family for taking their time to look and pick their favorite. It sure was a lot of fun to challenge myself like this. Very inspiring! And now it´s time to party!!!

 

La Femme - Copper

Another post in my Halloween themed challenge to myself trying to find the perfect Halloween polish in my collection. And I must say that I have most likely already found it!

La Femme "Copper"

3 coats of sparkly, spicy glitter.

 

I can not say anything else than that I really like it. It´s super sparkly, a lot more than in the pictures, and easy to get opaque on it´s own. La Femme is a budget brand that is not too easy to get a hold of, at least not in my parts of the country. The formula on their polishes usually leaves a lot to wish for, but their glitters are totally irresistible. I as lucky enough to be able to pick up a few bottles from a store that was closing down in a town nearby where I live.

 

Unfortunately so it is one of those brands that doesn't print a name nor a number on their polishes. If I was to name it I would call it something like "Spicy Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie" or "Pumpkin Gut". It truly gives off Halloween vibes for me!

Pahlish - Who Loves Orange Soda and Root Beer Barrel

Two weeks left for Halloween! Even though it is not that big a holiday here in Sweden it is still one of my favorite ones. Who doesn't like a little scare every once in a while? So I have decided to challenge myself to find the most Halloween-ish nail polish I have in my possession. And of course that will result in a lot of... orange ones.

Two coats of "Who Loves Orange Soda".

 

This one is a super carrot orange. Not at all my kind of color, but the shimmery glitter in it is really nice.

 

 

2 coats of "Root Beer Barrel"

This polish is a real stunner. I was skeptical at first, but it hit me right away how gorgeous this is. The only problem with it was that it really made me thirsty for Coca Cola (not Root Beer I´m afraid).

 





That´s my first contribution to my own challenge to find the best Halloween mani in my collection of polishes. Time to dig a little deeper for some more yummy orange polishes. Or perhaps something black...  



Lynnderella - Forgiving Is For You & Something Blue

My very first nail polish post! I admit I´m a bit nervous about this... I´m going to start off with a pair I really like from a really cool indie brand: Lynnderella!

2 coats "Something Blue" over Claudia "Baby Girl".

 

 

2 coats of "Forgiving Is For You" for full opacity.

And here layered over Claudia "Caribbean Blue" which gave a bit too chunky result for my taste. I definitely prefer this one on it´s own!

 

 

And that is that! Phew! I wonder if I am really up to this blogging business....
