H & M - Check Me Out

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Check Me Out".
Application: The first coat was great but the second both dragged and left empty patches.
Grade: 2

H & M - Gumdrops

Manicure: Four coats of "Gumdrops" + Seche Vite.
Application: Builds up pretty good. Still shows vnl though.
Grade: 3

 

Manicure: Two coats of Isadora "Flip Flop", two coats of "Gumdrops" + Seche Vite.
Application: Very easy but a lot of work for this mani.
Grade: 3

H & M - Just Blue Much

 

Manicure: Nail Pattern Boldness "Glitter-a-peel", three coats of "Just Blue Much" + Seche Vite.
Application: Takes three coats for a non vnl manicure.
Grade: 4

H & M - Frosty Flakes

 

Manicure: Isadora "Peel-of Base", two coats of Essence "Trendsetter", two coats of "Frosty Flakes" + Seche Vite.
Application: Very good. The manicure combo gave my nails a discoloration though.
Grade: 3

H & M have been making their own nail polishes for a very long time. They have come in all kinds of shapes and sizes through out the years and this week I put together a collection of a few of them to show you.

Manicure: Two coats.
Application: Quite nice.
Grade: 4

 

KBShimmer - Chick Me Out

 

 Manicure: Three coats of "Chick Me Out".
Application: It was impossible to make it look nice.
Grade: 2

Glam Polish - Scorpio

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Scorpio" + Seche Vite.
Application: Awesome.
Grade: 5

Gina Tricot - Python Green

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Python Green".
Application: Great.
Grade: 3

Color Week - Yellow

I was actually planning another theme for this week, but ended up picking this one instead since I didn´t get around to finish up all the swatches for it. I tried to pick out a few different yellows; like mainstreams and indies and different finishes.

 

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 21

It´s been a long, difficult, confusing week. One of my horses has gone lame and I am really upset about it. I was supposed to go to a competition with him next week and now that won´t happen. Oh well, that´s how life with horses are. Luckily I can drench my sorrows in nail polish!

O.P.I - The Power Of Pink

 

Manicure: Three coats of "The Power Of Pink" + Seche Vite.
Application: Good. Covers well for a crelly glitter.
Grade: 3

O.P.I - My Private Jet

 

Manicure: Two coats of "My Private Jet" + Seche Vite.
Application: Should have used three coats. Some bald patches are showing after just two.
Grade: 3

O.P.I - Italian Love Affair

 

Manicure: Nail Pattern Boldness "Glitter-a-peel", two coats of "Italian Love Affair" + Seche Vite.
Application: Dries fast so I had to be quick to get the strokes even.
Grade: 2

O.P.I - Dutch Ya Just Love O.P.I

 

Manicure: Isadora "Peel-off-base", two coats of "Dutch Ya Just Love O.P.I" + Seche Vite.
Application: No problem.
Grade: 3

Brand Presentation - O.P.I

It would surprise me greatly if anyone who reads this doesn´t know what O.P.I is. I will still write a little about the brand just for fun. O.P.I is a mainstream brand which is available around the world both online and in certain stores. In Sweden it is ridiculously expensive and not a polish I would ever spend that kind of money on. Most of the bottles I have I have bought second hand or if I have found a sale.



Weekly Polish Haul - Week 20

As some of you might have noticed I´ve been taking a week´s break from the blogging business. I know I should have said something about it, but I simply didn´t get around to do it. The reason is VACATION! I spent a wonderful week at my cottage in the country together with Mark and my doggie. It´s been a lot of time spent outdoors in the yard and in the woods. But now I am back in business with the blogging!
