Manicure: Two coats of H & M "Delicate Rays" + one coat of "Awesome Blossoms".
Application: Fairly good.

Brand Presentation - Essence

Essence is a European mainstream brand. I don´t know if it is available in the US. On their website you can read about their policy about no animal testing and keeping dangerous substances away from their products. I have only a few of their polishes in my collection and I bought them all second hand. Now I have finally tried them out!

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 21

Last week I didn´t have a Polish Haul to post. Well, I did but I didn´t have my polish in order enought to post about them. These beauties I found at a flea market I attended to which took place in an indoor arena. I payed about 5crowns each for them. What a steal! 

 Depend "No. 252", Mavala "Pure Diamond" and Gina Tricot "Turquiose Dust".

Essie - Set in Stones

Manicure: Isadora "Peel-off Base", two coats of Essie "Avenue Maintain", one coat of "Set in Stones" + Seche Vite.
Application: Very easy. Great pay-off.
Grade: 3

Depend - "Unknown"

 Manicure: Two coats of "Unknown"+ Seche Vite.

Application: A little see-through but very sparkly. I´ll try it as a topper next time.

Depend - No. 47

Manicure: Two coats of "No. 47".

Application: Very thick, needed lots of thinner. My bottle is probably quite old though.

Claudia - Sparkling Silver

Manicure: Three coats of Depend "Stardust Melody" + two coats of "Sparkling Silver".
Application: Great.
Grade: 3

Silver Glitter Week

How is it that one always ends up with lots of silvery glitter polishes? I most certainly have a ton of them. To motivate myself to start trying them out and decide which ones to keep I decided to put together a week for my blog. So, here are a few of the many silvers I own!

Depend 5072 - Mermaid Kiss

Manicure: Three coats of "Mermaid Kiss"+ Seche Vite.
Application: Quite draggy. Takes at least three coats for coverage.
Grade: 4

Depend 5071 - Cinderella Glow

 Manicure: Nfu Oh "Aqua Base", two coats of China Glaze "Not In This Galaxy", one coat of "Cinderella Glow" + Seche Vite.

Application: Good!
Grade: 3

I tried using this polish as a topper over a similar colored base polish. I thought that one of China Glace´s holographic polishes would suit well for it and picked "Not In This Galaxy". I must say I was very satified about the combo choice I made. They matched each other well. A holo polish with prismatic glitter on top simply can´t go wrong though, can it?

Depend 5070 - Miss Tinkerbell

Manicure: Three coats of "Miss Tinkerbell" + Seche Vite.
Application: Quite hard to get even.
Grade: 3

  

Depend 5069 - Stardust Melody

 Manicure: Three coats.

Application: A little bit draggy. Use an Aqua Base.
Grade: 4

This polish is kind of strange and kind of unique. It looks a little sheer in the pictures but it covers well after a few coats in reality. The color is grayish brown and it sparkles nicely in the colors of the prism.

Depend "Once Upon a Time" Glitter Week

The Swedish mainstream brand Depend released an LE collection called "Once Upon A Time" last spring. It contained eight polishes; 4 cremes and 4 prismatic glitter jellies. Even though the cremes were nice enough I decided to just pick up the glitters. Depend has surprised me before with their LE collections so I just had to try them. Enjoy!

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 19

These are the polishes my American brought with him from his last trip to the US. I asked him to pick up some random nail polishes and these are the ones he found. 

 Orly "Feel the Funk", "Star Spangled" and Defy and Inspire "Auf Wiedersehen".

Ella + Mila "Drippin Gold", Sally Hansen "Grape Shifter" and "Strobe Light", CND Vinylux "Brass Button".

Mavala - Toulouse

Manicure: Two coats of "Toulouse".

Application: Doesn´t cover completely. Drags.
Grade: 2

Mavala - Osaka

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Osaka".
Application: The first coat looked nice, the second just made the mani look weird.
Grade: 2

Mavala - Moonstone

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Moonstone" + Seche Vite.
Application: It was impossible to use without a lot of thinner. I did buy it second hand however.
