Cupcake Polish - Brew-tea-ful

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Brew-tea-ful" and Essie "Gel Setter".
Note: Amazing application. I love the contrast between the red holo and the dark flakies. 
Grade: 4,5  

ILNP - Park Place

 

Manicure: Nfu Oh "Aqua Base", two coats of "Park Place" and Seche Vite.
Note: This polish is like liquid metal. It´s the most holographic polish I´ve ever seen. 
Grade: 5  

Glam Polish - Aloha ´Oe

  

Manicure: Three coats of "Aloha ´Oe" and Essie "Speed Setter". 
Note: It was a bit draggy, three coats were necessary. The shimmer is amazing. 
Grade: 4  

OPI - Kiss Me On My Tulips

Manicure: Two coats of "Kiss Me On My Tulips".
Note: A cute, pretty basic creme. Could be a one-coater. 
Grade: 3  

Chaos & Crocodiles - Tropical Candy Flowers

Manicure: Nfu Oh "Aqua Base", two coats of "Tropical Candy Flowers" and Seche Vite.
Note: Simply great. 
Grade: 4  

OPI - Chocolate Shake-spear

Manicure: One coat of "Chocolate Shake-spear".
Note: The shimmer in this polish is very pretty. 
Grade: 3  

Superchic Lacquer - Don´t Eat The Cotton Candy

Manicure: Two coats of "Don´t Eat The Cotton Candy" and two coats of Glam Polish "Magic Shine Topcoat".

Note: One coat doesn´t really cover well, three coats would just make it look goopy. It really eats top polish, maybe I should use this one with a base polish next time. 

Grade: 3

  

Cupcake Polish - Back To The Fuchsia

 

Manicure: Two coats of "Back To The Fuchsia".
Note: Great application and a lot more holo than I expected. 
Grade: 4 

La Femme - Purple Glitter

Manicure: Three coats of "Purple Glitter".

Note: I guess it´s not bad, I just don´t like jelly glitters like this one much.
Grade: 2 

Essie - Tied & Blue

Manicure: Two coats of "Tied & Blue".

Note: It was quite thick to apply. Sadly the glitter drowned in the blue base color.
Grade: 3

  

Technic - Isla Bonita

Manicure: Three coats of Don Deeva "Mag Money" and two coats of "Isla Bonita".

Note: Very nice! I like the mix of micro and ordinary glitter.
Grade: 3

  

New Times = New Changes

I have reached a point in my life where I am going to have to make some changes to be a happy person. We all get there eventually, right? Maybe it´s because I am almost 40 now and going through some kind of 40-year-old-crisis, or maybe it´s because I have finally grown up a little. I honestly have no idea.
Anyway; one of the changes I have to make has to do with the blogging. I love blogging and don´t want to stop. But I also love cross-stitching, reading, watching movies, playing my Nintendo games and so on. The list seems endless sometimes ( I have a lot of hobbies). And I have about half an hour each day to spend on my hobbies. Definitely not enough.
It usually takes me a whole Saturday afternoon to fix up my blog entries for the coming week. As much as I like sitting down at my desk computer to do that, I enjoy walking my dog och playing with my rabbits even more. Which leads me straight to making priorities. Isn´t that what life´s all about; prioritizing?

Therefore I am going to stop making themed weeks for a while. It is a lot of fun work to organize and come up with themes, but I simply don´t have the time for it anymore. I have to realize that. It´might just be for a while, it might be for ever, we´ll see.

The plan is to continue posting 4-5 polishes per week. I will just not make a theme out of them, but post them more randomly, trying to mix it up a little bit.

I hope the blog will still be an informative, inspiring source for nail polish lovers out there!

OPI - Just Spotted The Lizard

Manicure: Three coats of "Just Spotted The Lizard".

Note: This is so pretty. Very sparkly in the sun and quite duochromatic.

Note: Nah. It´s just too a yellowish gold.

OPI - Chasing Rainbows

Manicure: Two coats of OPI "Comet Closer", one coat of "Chasing Rainbows" and Essie "Speed Setter".
Note: This was my very first glitter topper ever. And I still love it just as much.
