Loréal - Under My Spell

Manicure: Isadora "Peel-off base",  two coats of H&M "Precious", one coat of "Under My Spell" + Seche Vite.
Application: Amazing for a glitter topper. Just apply it.
Grade: 4

This glitter topper was super! It is a mixture of yellow hexes, green micro glitters and holographic flakes. It almost smell indie to me. I can´t wait to try this over other base colors.

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 21

I got the chance to buy the following polishes from a Facebook nail polish group. I wouldn´t have had half the polishes I own if it wasn´t for that group! It is so awesome. And all of them are actually sugar polishes too. Six new structured beauties from four different brands. Not too bad!

Dance Legend "Elafonisi" and "Luxy Glam" plus a bottle of Perfect Sand Lacquer.

Depend "No 2066", "No 2062" and Nicole by O.P.I "Blueberry Sweet on You".

Rainbow Polish - Lollipop

Manicure: First two pictures: Isadora "Peel-off base", two coats of Sensinity "No. 41" and two coats of "Lollipop" + Seche Vite. Last two pictures: Isadora "Peel-off base", two coats of Depend "No. 40" and two coats of "Lollipop" + Seche Vite.
Application: Great glitter application, I just applied it.
Grade: 3

This indie nail polish is one I stumbled upon at Amazon. I was truly surprised to find this brand, they are selling a lot of extraordinary glitter toppers as well as other finishes. After choosing for a long time I finally decided to pick up a mini size bottle set of the "Sweet Treats" collection. It contains four super cute small bottles packed full of glitters in different colors.

Make Up Store - Teresa

Manicure: One coat of Depend "No. 171" and two coats of "Teresa" + Seche Vite.
Application: Some dabbing is necessary and I liked it better using two coats.
Grade: 3

I picked this one up at a sale due to it´s (for me) unique color combination of glitters. I really like the mix of orange, silver and periwinkle blue. The mani combo turned out well too, I will definitely use this one again.

Isadora - Lilac De Luxe

Manicure: Two coats of Nordic Cap of Sweden "NP 41", one coat of "Lilac De Luxe" + Seche Vite.
Application: Very easy glitter to work with, just apply it like regular nail polish.
Grade: 4

In this post I have a very special guest star appearance. It´s my mothers fingers you are looking at here. She wanted me to fix her nails up for a theater visit a long time ago, and this is the mani I choose to make on her. These are such awesome glitter toppers! I like all the ones coming from the "Holographic Nails" collection. I haven´t manage to get a hold of all of them yet but sure is working on it!

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 20

I went to the grocery store City Gross today with my boyfriend to do some shopping. The best thing with that store is that they are selling the Nordic Cap of Sweden nail polishes. They usually retail for 10kr a bottle but today they were 5kr! OMG. Even though I am sooo broke right now and already have most of the Nordic Cap polishes I had to pick up a few I didn´t recognize having.

"NP 37", "NP 59", "NP 23" & "NP 46".

Nail Pattern Boldness - Tricky

Manicure: Two coats of "Tricky" + Seche Vite.
Application: Very easy, just apply two coats and it´s ready.
Grade: 4

This nail polish is super sparkly in the sun. I think I manage to catch that quite well in the photos above. I really like the unique color combination of glitter; light pink, violet and green. This ones is a real winner!

Nordic Cap of Sweden - NP 50

Manicure: Two coats of "NP 50" + Seche Vite.
Application: Very easy.
Grade: 4

Oh, I so like this one! It´s as blue as blue can be! I still can´t believe how awesome most of the Nordic Cap polishes are, they are so cheap. I have a huge load of them and must get started on swatching them all for sure.

Depend - No. 40

Manicure: One coat of Depend "No. 40" + Seche Vite.
Application: Completely amazing! A real one-coater!
Grade: 4

Did I ever say I don´t like creme polishes? Well I do like this one! A lot! For me this is a perfect red tone and being a one-coater what else is there to wish for?

Gina Tricot - Sparkling Silver

Manicure: Homemade peel-off base polish, two coats of Isadora "Black Galaxy" and one coat of "Sparkling Silver" + Seche Vite.
Application: Just fished the glitter out of the bottle and spread it.
Grade: 3

This glitter topper is not very spectacular. It´s a pretty basic silver glitter with holographic effect that I have seen many times before. I must admit I am probably giving it a lower grade thanks to the black base I used. I just so not like dark polishes (with a very few exceptions). Next time I will layer it over something happier, like lilac or light blue or pink (!!!) and I will probably like it more.

Glam Polish - River Deep Mountain High

Manicure: Two coats of "River Deep, Mountain High" and a top coat.
Note: Another wonderful Glam Polish!! This one is a raspberry glittery holo. Can it get much better than that?
Grade: 4

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 19

Isn´t this the cutest collection of glitter polishes? As you can see they all come from the budget brand Technic. The bottles are mini size and oh my how cute they are! (Did I say that already?)
I am in a nail polish vacuum right now. The reason is that I simply have zero money to spend on it. But stumbling upon this at a local low-end department store I just had to get it. Unfortunately so they don´t seem to have any names or specific numbers on them. I think it is some kind of Christmas gift set released last winter which simply got left behind in the store for too long. Lucky me!

Glam of Sweden - Crystal Sand No. 23

Manicure: 2 coats of "No. 23" and Seche Vite.
Application: Great. Almost a one-coater.
Grade: 4

My sincere apologies for the crappy pictures in this post. I have almost used up all my old pre-lightbox pictures now. I simply can not wait to start showing off the new ones, they are so much nicer!
This nail polish is a stunner. It applies easily, it sparkles like crazy and I always love a good violet. And it is a budget polish, sells for about 20 crowns. To all Swedes; go go get it!

Wet n Wild - Stick it to the Man

Manicure: 2 coats of Nordic Cap of Sweden "NP 50",  a sponged layer of "Stick it to the man" and Seche Vite.
Application: Due to the sparse amount of glitter in the bottle sponging this is a have-to.
Grade: 4

Even though this is not really my style of mani, I like it! I bought the glitter topper because I thought it looked rather different from anything I have owned before thanks to the square glitter in it and the color combination. The glitter is a little transparent which will make it look different with different colored bases. A real good glitter for the person who likes experimenting with different color combinations such as myself!

Today it´s Friday again, thank goodness. And the 13th to boot! My spouse and I are taking a trip to our cottage in the country and most likely will we watch a yummy horror movie together there tonight. I so look forward to that, feeling the warmth from the fireplace, scaring myself by watching something I shouldn´t watch while the nature outside gets darker and darker...

H & M - Starstuck

Manicure: Isadora "Peel of Base", 2 coats of "Starstruck" and Seche Vite.
Application: Gives enough coverage in 2 coats.
Grade: 4

This is an awesome micro glitter polish from the old bottles of H & M polishes. It is so cute and sparkles in a kind of metallic shimmer. A micro glitter like this one which gets opaque is something I really love wearing.

And now as a request from my hubby; Don´t stop writing the personal stuff! That is probably the things he actually enjoys reading on my blog (especially when I write about him). It is however eight in the evening and I am going to bed pretty soon and first I have to repaint my nails for the weekend. So I better get to it!

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 18

This week I have quite the mixture of nail polishes to show. Isn´t that just so fun?

Showing Pahlish "The Forest Moon", Potion Polish "Silver Skates", Above the Curve "Ravenclaw" & "Patronus Charm".

And Different Dimension "Earth", KPT "Under the Limelight", Too Fancy Lacquer "This Love Is Smokin Hot" and ILNP "Princess Diaries".

All these are bought from a Facebook group sale. The KPT polish, which apparently is a holo glitter topper, I got as a bonus from the seller. There is nothing I love as much as when someone sets up a sale and you manage to snatch so many beauties such as these.

Depend - No. 171

It´s been a while now since I showed off a creme polish. As you might have noticed I am not a too big fan of those. The reason? They are usually not very forgiving. What I mean with that is that it is quite hard for me with my uneven, rugged, flaky nails to apply them to look flawless. And anything less than perfect is not good enough is it?

This is one coat and Seche Vite.

This is pretty much as flawless as I can make a creme polish look. And with one coat to boot! The color itself is not really my cup of tea but very useful as a base color for a really sparkly glitter, don´t you think?

Maybelline - Purple Dazzle

Sun and warmth. The nature is green and lush. I am sitting inside blogging! I have to go outside!

Two wonderful coats and one coat of top polish.

Gosh, I like this nail polish! It´s so squishy and sparkly and easy to apply and I just really love it! There are one more polish in this Maybelline "Be Brilliant" collection which seems to have a similar look but with other colors. I really have to try it out sometime soon.
