Green Nordic Cap of Sweden Week

For a while I actually snapped out of the indie polish craze and tried a few of my budgets. If nothing else than for sorting out some bottles I might not want to keep. I realized I have a lot of Nordic Cap of Sweden which are green and decided to put together a themed week for those. So, here they are!

Brand Presentation - Essie

I do not believe there are many nail polish fans around who don´t know about the brand Essie. But in case someone doesn´t; it is a mainstream brand and it seems like you can find it pretty much wherever in the world you happen to be. Here in Sweden they are available in most cosmetic shops as well as in online stores. My opinion is that they mostly make creme polishes, though occasionally you can find some glitter toppers, a sugar polish or a metallic polish collection.

Weekly Polish Haul - Week 46

These two collections were inspired by the generation four My Little Pony line. Being a huge fan (and a collector) of the original MLP I had to get these if not just because they look stunning but for their themed names. I am looking forward to try them so bad, but am in a state where I try to use polishes from my collection I might want to get rid off to clear some space on my shelves, and these six definitely don´t fit into that category! Glam Polish - Friendship is Sparkly trios!!

Glam Polish "Keep Calm and Flutter on", "Lunar Eclipse" and "Sonic Rainboom".

Glam Polish "Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows", "Cutie Pox" and "Bridle Gossip".

Comparison - Depend Holo Fantasy part 2

Depend No. 5043 "Night Potion" and No. 5042 "Lady Wizard".

From left to right: Depend No. 5043 "Night Potion" and No. 5042 "Lady Wizard".

Doing a comparison of the orange nail polishes from this collection resulted in doing one for the black ones as well. As similar as these two look in the bottle, the difference on the nail is obvious. "Night Potion" doesn't even look that black beside it´s comparison, more like a charcoal gray.

Collection Week - Depend Holo Fantasy part 2

I have four more pretty polishes to show from this collection. I have been surprised by how much I liked these even though they don´t come in colors I normally like that much. I hope that Depend will decide to make another similar collection next year but for spring, with a little softer colors (and more pink and blue of course).

Ever since they first started posting swatches of this nail polish collection I knew right away I had to get them all. They are so cute, beautiful, fun and colorful it´s indescribable. Of course I am talking about the Glam Polish "Ready Set Go" collection! I believe it´s still available at glampolish.com and I strongly advise to get at least a few of them if you haven´t already!

Comparison - Depend Holo Fantasy part 1

Depend No. 5036 "Sweet Elves" and No. 5037 "Forbidden Witchcraft".

From left to right: Depend No. 5036 "Sweet Elves" and No. 5037 "Forbidden Witchcraft".

Since there are two orange bottles of polish in this Depend "Holo Fantasy" collection I obviously had to make a comparison post about them. I am myself often curious about how different polish compares to each other and am hoping to make more comparison posts in the future.
These two look very similar in the bottle but not on the nail. "Sweet Elves" looks a lot more red than orange beside the more pumpkin colored "Forbidden Witchcraft". They are both splendid orange colored nail polishes and I couldn´t pick a favorite!
