Lynnderella - Princess in Punkatory

Happy Thanksgiving! And Happy Black Friday!! I´m hoping you have been able to get some great nail polish deals today at the sales. I know that I have. Can´t wait too see all the polishes I ordered online today, it seems like forever to wait till next week. But until then, another nail polish swatch I did over a year ago. This one is so weird. I wonder what I was thinking...

I don´t even remember what I layered it over. I think it was some kind of budget brand polish. I really like it though, it´s totally packed with glitter like most Lynderellas are. I really have to reswatch this sometime, the pictures are so weird. What are those orange dots in the second picture? A UFO just landed? And my cuticles looks like they need a makeover. Oh well. 



Nail Polish finds at Ullared

Fisrt of all I´m sorry for the lack of post yesterday. I had a very good reason not to blog though! I went to one of Sweden´s biggest and supposedly cheapest department store to spend all my money. And of course some of that money was spent on... can you guess?

Not a bad haul! I didn´t pay much for these at all compared to what they cost in regular stores. The China Glaze bottles were 50 crowns each (cost 69-89 crowns usually), 55 crowns for the Isadoras which always cost 79 in the cosmetic shops. The Depends are 25 to 39 crowns usually and now I payed 15 crowns for them. I have never found the Claudia polish anywhere else but at Ullared, except from seeing them pop up a online shops sometimes, and they are super cheap at 10 crowns each!

The holographic glitter was definitely the most visible in this one. In bright light it really looks like you have a night sky with thousands of colored stars on your nails. Simply gorgeous.

As with all of these polishes; two coats and top coat.

 

As with a few other polishes in this collection the pictures really don´t do this one justice. "Shine All Day" was my very favorite of the six. It is the perfect fall manicure, it reminds me of the aster flowers at my summer cottage, and I never get enough time to spend there in the fall to fully enjoy them. The rainbow glitter is also very visible, and I love it.

Depend - 4071 All That Sparkle and 4075 Dazzling Kisses

Depend "All That Sparkle" & "Dazzling Kisses"

 2 coats and top coat.

 

This one is just like white Depend polish I posted about last time. It looks sheer in the pictures but is really not. Two coats were enough to reach complete opacity. It is also a lot more yellow in real life, here it looks more like a classic gold.

This one looks so squishy! I love that, it´s like having huge yummy jellybeans on your nails. It was however the polish in this collection which showed the least of the holographic glitter. Can´t wait to see the last two? I´ll be back to post about them on Sunday!

Depend - 4073 Twinkle and Magic and 4076 Add Some Glamour

Here comes my first post about the new Depend Glitter Collection.

Depend "Twinkle and Magic" & "Add Some Glamour"

 

 2 coats plus top coat for full coverage.

 

This polish is crazy full of holographic micro glitter, it sparkles a lot in both lamplight and sunlight. The application was no problem, it is quite goopy to apply but still easy.

 

And again 2 coats.

 

Add Some Glamour is a lovely white jelly glitter polish. The pictures do not do it justice! In the bottle it looks more like silver, but on the nails it shines a lot more closer to white. I absolutely loved that! It is also opaque after two coats, but in the pictures you can see the nail line. Strange.



Depend O2 Glitter Collection

All right, enough of old, bad pictures for a while. I am now up to something completely new! It is the Depend O2 Glitter Collection. It is a completely new fall release from Depend. When I saw it in the store of course I had to pick up one bottle of each.

 This is what the display looked like when I found it in the store Åhléns in my home town.

And they had made little swatches on their own which totally didn't make the polishes justice.

 

All of them consists of a colored jelly base totally packed with holographic glitter. Coming up this week are fingernail swatches of every single one of them. Can you guess which one is my favorite? 



Darling Diva - Invoke the Spirit

Terrible fingernail picture alert! Not for sensitive readers! Really nice polish though. It´s fun!

 

 

I really have to redo this manicure sometime. This glitter topper is so much fun! And it glows in the dark! Can it get much better than that? Again, this is another old picture from the archive, thank oh goddess my nails don´t look like this nowadays! I took some fishing to get the glitter out but that is never a problem for me since I like doing that kind of stuff. Weird, I know.

Celestial - Neon Nights and Passion Pop

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! Now it´s time to move on towards darker times of the year. In Sweden the winter gets really dark! I´ve always liked cheering myself up with happy nail polish colors in the fall and winter.

These two are really cute polishes and they do their job to cheer me up for sure! Application was no problem, I had an easy time with these. My favorite of the two was "Neon Nights", it is a very different color combo.
